About This Place

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Los Angeles at 473 N Western Ave, Castle BBQ offers an authentic Korean barbecue experience that captures both tradition and bold flavor innovation. This Korean barbecue restaurant is a haven for lovers of grilled delicacies, showcasing a menu bursting with mouthwatering selections like Marinated Beef Bulgogi, Boneless Short Rib Cube, Spicy Chicken & Pork Belly, and the ever-satisfying Samgyeopsal. Every dish is crafted to awaken your senses—the rich, savory marinade on the bulgogi, the smoky char from the grill, and the perfect balance of spice and freshness in their signature kimchi and side vegetables.

The dining atmosphere at Castle BBQ is lively and inviting. Whether you’re enjoying an all-you-can-eat feast or carefully savoring thinly sliced beef brisket and tender hot pot offerings, the convivial spirit of the place makes every meal feel like a warm gathering among friends and family. One thoughtful detail that keeps guests coming back is the attentive service—you can expect your server to anticipate your needs, as praised by regulars like Alexis Campuzano Dimas, who experienced hospitality that feels genuinely familial.

Castle BBQ’s extensive beverage list complements its dishes perfectly, featuring Korean specialties such as Soju and the delicate Sake Nikkooni, alongside familiar sodas and refreshing iced teas. For those seeking indulgence, the “all you can eat” menus provide great value and plentiful portions, allowing you to sample everything from Marinated Pork Bulgogi to fresh Small Intestine, paired with steamed rice and a variety of side salads.

While the culinary delights are abundant, a practical note for diners: parking is limited and requires valet service to avoid any inconvenience. Despite this, the overall dining experience remains a highlight for many. As customer Super Human noted, the food may veer more toward a modern Asian fusion flavor than strictly traditional Korean, but it never fails to impress with its generous portions and delicious taste.

Castle BBQ is more than just a meal—it’s a flavorful journey into Korean barbecue culture with a Los Angeles twist. From first-time visitors marveling at the quality and value to loyal customers like Josephine A who swear it’s the best Korean BBQ spot in the area, this restaurant consistently provides a satisfying, memorable dining encounter. If you find yourself craving smoky, sizzling meats grilled tableside or a spirited night out with friends, Castle BBQ should be your go-to destination.

We had a team dinner here on a Saturday night. Staffs were quick and professional. They give big meat portions at a time. Sides were little, but they provided multiple sides, so that was good. Overall was a nice experience. The bad things were there were no parkings. You have to valet your car or your car will be towed. The food tastes great, but it is not Korean flavor. It’s more of an Asian fusion flavor. They play Hispanic songs only. They only have one bathroom per gender. Imagine the line. Tables and chairs were very sticky and slimy.
